Alyssa Lawrence, 20 (almost 21 :) )

Alyssa our new intern, is from Roanoke, Va and attended Hidden Valley High School. She is currently a second semester senior at Virginia Tech and is working toward receiving her Bachelor of Science in Apparel, Housing and Resource Management, focusing on the Housing option. The Housing option is geared toward residential design and places emphasis on Kitchen and Bathroom Design. In addition to Housing, Alyssa is also receiving a Leadership and Social Change minor. She is very involved on campus and in her sorority, holding numerous leadership positions and volunteering. She enjoys traveling, dancing, reading, learning and Virginia Tech Athletics. After coming from a family with a design background, she is excited to enter the field and gain her own experience!
